Pan Baidu allows users to upload and download files via cloud storage, automatically sync files across devices, and share content across platforms. The mobile app includes document scanning, handwriting removal, ID photo capture, and text extraction from images. Files can be automatically backed up and searched once stored.
Videos and audio can be played directly from cloud storage without downloading. Documents can be previewed and novels read online. Pan Baidu supports online preview for common image, audio, video, and document formats. Playback quality modes include Data Saver, Smooth, and HD depending on network conditions.
Available on Android and Web versions, offline download lets users submit HTTP, FTP, magnet links, and BT torrent files to Pan Baidu servers. The servers fetch and store the content directly into personal cloud storage in the background, without requiring the user's device to stay connected.
The web version supports online decompression of compressed files up to 500 MB for standard users. Users can view files inside compressed archives and save individual files up to 50 MB directly to cloud storage or download them without extracting the full archive. SVIP and SVIP10 users have access to larger decompression limits.
Pan Baidu holds three international security certifications from China Quality Certification Center: ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security Management System), ISO/IEC 27018 (Personal Identifiable Information Security), and ISO/IEC 27701 (Privacy Information Management). The service applies protection measures across login devices, private spaces, file backup, and sharing workflows.

Launched in May 2023 at Baidu's Mobile Ecosystem Wanxiang Conference, Cloud One is powered by a full upgrade of Baidu's Wenxin large model. Users can interact with their stored files using natural language, enabling fast file search, knowledge summarization, document translation, intelligent content creation, and multimodal file processing. Launched in April 2024, Super Canvas is an AI photography creative tool using Baidu's image large model and intelligent face fusion algorithms. Launched in June 2025 at Baidu AI Open Day, AI Camera is a multifunctional platform integrating storage, search, photo editing, scanning, translation, and content creation. Launched in August 2025, GenFlow 2.0 is a cross-platform universal agent jointly developed with Baidu Wenku. It integrates a user memory bank with personal materials stored in Pan Baidu, including project files, study notes, and photos. The agent mobilizes multiple expert models simultaneously to produce multimodal output formats in parallel, including PPT, Excel, research reports, mind maps, and posters.
Pan Baidu launched on March 23, 2012 under the name Baidu Cloud. Within two months, personal users exceeded 10 million. The service was introduced alongside developer tools at Baidu World Conference, including the Personal Cloud Storage API for third-party integration.
