We're Moving to a New Domain (baidudl.com)

A new domain, and a brief look back at how we got here.

Today, we're happy to share that BAIDUDL has a new home: baidudl.com.

BAIDUDL started in 2023 as a free service on Reddit, helping people download their Baidu Pan files one link at a time. There was no website, no product, and no real plan to build one. A tip jar went up mostly as an experiment. When the first payment came through, it was clear there was something worth building.

Two years later, BAIDUDL supports downloads from 14 different Chinese cloud storage services. We've processed over a hundred terabytes of data for users around the world, and our pricing has stayed nearly unchanged. Keeping BAIDUDL affordable was always the point, and it still is.

baidudl.cloud served us well, but .com is easier to type, easier to remember, and easier to share. It's a small change on the surface, but it represents a new chapter for us.

What's Next

Our website and docs will move to baidudl.com first, with the rest migrating gradually over time. All existing baidudl.cloud links will continue to work, and nothing else changes: same service, same team, same pricing.
